The aim of this work was to study the dependence of the strength of mutant promoters of the rrnB gene of E.coli ribosomal RNA on the parameters of the electrostatic up-element.

Objectives:

To calculate the dependence of promoter strength on the maximum potential value in a 50 base pair length window around the 75 position according to the coordinates of a set of mutant up-elements.

To calculate the dependence of the promoter force on the total value of the potential around the maximum in the window of the length of 50 base pairs around the 75th position in accordance with the coordinates of the set of mutant up-elements.
