The influence of the mechanism of deletion of vertices on the topology of growing networks with the non-linear preferential attachment is determined in this work. The tolerance of these networks against random failures and targeted attacks is investigated. The peculiarities of the rumor spreading in growing networks with deletion of vertices are analyzed.
