Conference publicationsEndogenous Factors of the Income Differentiation Growth and Searching for the “Just” Level of InequalityRussia, Moscow Endogenous factors of the income inequality growth are analyzed. The utility functions based on the criterion of minimizing the shocks and taking into account the interests of the poorer segments of the population as well as altruism and egoism of the riches are used. It is shown that maintaining a certain level of income inequality is needed, and in this connection the problems of meritocracy and stability in the society are discussed. The need for keen attention on moral and ethics principles as well as on building civil society is the main conclusion of the paper |
