Three-dimensional model of avascular tumor growth in the tissue

The three-dimensional two-compound model of tumour growth in the tissue has been considered. The model reflects chemotaxis of tumor cells as well as motility. We have applied the modified Douglass–Gunn difference scheme to obtain numerical solutions of the equations considered. Approximation properties of the method have been investigated. We have implemented the model for a cylindrical sector of homogenous tissue (without large vessels inside) and offer the examples of calculations.
