Formation ot the competence: teacher by eyes of students

Implementing competence approach to education can not be successful without the development of scientific and methodological basis for monitoring and evaluating the formation of competencies. The goal of building competencies involves not so much a review of subject content, how much change in technology education process. In principle, the educational technology of competences represents a Competence-oriented job, or a projective method of formalized educational situations in which students pose and / or achieve certain goals. That is, to achieve its goals, the student and needs some information he receives either from internal sources (own knowledge) or from outside, particularly from the teacher. Successful implementation of the education system of its functions to prepare competent professionals, not least by the quality of teachers. Modern education, aimed at building competencies of skills required teachers who possess competency methods.

The total number of competencies great, all together they form a hierarchical system, the upper level which is sufficient to distinguish the following types: research, thinking, speech, value-sense, general culture. In order to monitor the quality of education can use three groups of indicators on the values which may assess the commitment of academic departments and teachers to develop skills of students. In particular, the analysis of CMD individual disciplines allows us to estimate the expected competencies (index EC) incorporated in the curricula. The study of teachers on the development of competencies during the training sessions, for example, through questioning of students determines the competence generated (index CG). Measuring competency achievements learners themselves - the most complex and insufficiently formalizable task, but existing methods make it possible to measure the presence and level of core competency and get their spectrum inherent in the student (index IC).

The investigation of competency of teachers, which examined academic classes (lectures, seminars, laboratory practical) in the mirror formation of competences in terms of perception of his trainees with the use of questioning techniques was held [1]. The method used gives a tool for evaluating the activities of the teacher to develop competence at it conducts classes in different age groups and forms of education. When processing forms of discipline are grouped by blocks of the curriculum: (EN) - Natural Science; (GP) - general professional; (HSE) – Humanities, social, economics; (SD) - special discipline. Evaluation of teacher development for each of selected types of skills held a special association of the questionnaire items, the numerical value of summary measures is the relative share of the realized during the training points of the scale, the closer it is to unity, the greater the realization of Competence approach of the teacher.

The results of processing of questionnaires can obtain quantitative data for the implementation of management procedures and the educational process, to develop specific recommendations for its improvement and optimization. The increase competence-level teachers should facilitate the introduction of innovative methods and technologies for learning, the formation of an expanded range of individual skills, knowledge of modern forms, methods and teaching aids, teaching methods used in the foundations of psychology.
