Hysteresis in the system of ionic fluxes in Chara Corallina. Mathematical model.

The mathematical model of ionic fluxes through the cell membrane of green alga Chara corallina was developed. The modelis based on kinetics of proton ATPase and takes into account the dynamics of transmembrane potential. The results of model simulations are in agree with experimental data on dependence pH of light intensity. The mechanism of hysteresis is discussed.
