Tendencies of development IKT in formation

In the end of last century development IKT has led to formation of new disciplines: «a computer, complexes, systems and networks», "Computer science", "Information technologies", «Technology of development of the software». In such situation there was a need for development of the uniform methodological approach to determination to a direction of preparation of experts and the formation content. Application of this methodology should consider the requirement of the international standards, legislative basis of republic, national standards of branch normative and technical documents on IKT.

In the charter of a global information society accepted by heads of the countries of "eight", it is declared: «the Information society allows people to use more widely the potential and to implement the aspirations. For this purpose IKT should serve goal achievement of support of steady economic growth, public welfare increase, world and consent control»

In different years, since 2002, have been accepted a row of standards for teaching IKT in higher educational institutions. In development of these standards was representatives of all range of the higher educational institutions training to computer science, representatives of governmental bodies, the industries are involved

Standards should be useful to all world society. In spite of the fact that requirements to teaching plans differ from the country to the country, it should be useful to teachers of technologies all over the world.

Documents consist of two main parts: the description of volume of knowledge and the description of specific training courses. Program IKT consists of following components:

- Scientific preparation – fundamental knowledge and methodologies;

- Technological preparation - learning of bases of nanotechnologies;

- Systems thinking development, learning of application-oriented technologies;

- Development of personal and business qualities, including modeling by a business activity, preparation of presentations etc.;

- Practical and final operation.

In Azerbaijan at all universities there is the sufficient teaching staff, allowing to study computer science at high level. So, at Cooperation university, to students teach a subject "Computer science", «Information systems in world economy», "Econometrician". At university is available four computer halls, equipped with the modern techniques, allowing to conduct lecture and a seminar at high level
