A method of calculating eigenvalues of discrete high order Sturm-Liouville problem

We offer an algorithm for computing eigenvalues of 2n order Sturm-Liouville discrete eigenvalue problems with the Dirichlet boundary conditions which correspond to symmetric eigenvalue problems for symmetric banded matrices with the bandwidth 2n + 1.
